Clioo is run by [Your business name, ABN] ("we", "us"). Clioo writes, films and edits short videos for your business. This page says what information Clioo handles, where it goes and why, in plain words. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

What stays on your device

Your videos stay on your phone. Filming, editing and the finished video all happen on your device. When Clioo AI plans an edit, we send the spoken words (the transcript) and a few still frames from your clips so it can see what to show where — never the video files themselves.

The AI

Clioo AI runs on Claude, by Anthropic. To do its work, we send Anthropic the content needed for each job: your brief and business profile, transcripts of your takes, a few still frames from your work clips, and the public pages of websites you ask us to read. Anthropic processes this to generate your scripts, edits, captions, music plans and analyses. We use Anthropic's commercial API, which does not use your content to train their models. Anthropic's privacy policy is at anthropic.com/privacy.

How long we keep things

Deleting your account

In the app: Account, then Delete account. This deletes your account, profile, sessions, scripts, analyses and credits from our servers straight away, and revokes your Apple sign-in. Purchase records are kept in de-identified form where tax law requires it.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or complain. Write to [support email]. If you're not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll say so in the app before the change applies.
